    The title of this review says it all. Just be sure to order the type of light – warm or white – because there is no switch!

    Hmmm

    The sticker on the plain white box was slit, and well, what was in the box was matte white, not matte bronze like I ordered. Those individual boxes didn’t apear to have been opened ever. Rather than return them, I bought some spray paint to cover the trim ring. Haven’t installed them yet, but I’m sure they’ll be fine.

    Really good price for all 6 compared to if you were to try to buy from Lowes. Just wish I would’ve remembered which tint my other ones were before buying these, different colors than previous ones but don’t care enought go change. I’m guessing installation was easy as my husband did it and didn’t hear any cussing lol

    Good lights but used

    One of these lights had a large burn on it when we opened the box. Because of time, we used the four we needed to get installed in the bedroom, but now we don’t have the other two for our other project. Couldn’t send them back because of time. Check your box- these were obviously used and they accepted them back with one being burned out.

    These lights are quite beautiful. We used them for our outdoor patio and also at the tops of our garage doors. We selected the lighting that gives off a nice bright yet soft yellow hue. They are warm, inviting, and easy on the eyes. I had initially purchased different lights for my outside areas and they were way too bright- with a bright white hue… it looked like a damn convenience store storefront- just tacky and hard on the eyes. So glad I purchased these instead!

    I don’t know how they are, not enough hardware

    I have old metal 4″ j-boxes, I have new metal 4″ j-boxes, and I have new plastic 4″ j boxes. As far as “fits most J-boxes” and “can be installed with the [hardware] included,” no. They can’t. I need crossbars to mount these, because the holes are 2 3/4″ apart, not the 3.5″ on ALL the J-boxes I have. This is an easy fix, but if I had know that, I would have ordered them at the same time. Where is that in all the other reviews?Maybe they look good, I have no idea.

    Looks great, but looks aren’t everything!

    They look great and it was an easy install. My complaints are you can see through the milky lens. You can tell where the locking tabs are and where the LED panel is. That’s my biggest complaint! Needs to be more obscure. Also it took me awhile to get the milky lens off. Does not twist off that easy. Hopefully I won’t have to take them down. I’m afraid I will break a lens.

    These are BEAUTIFUL!

    LOVE LOVE LOVE. Bought two boxes and replaced all the old fixtures in my house (15W), holly crap, I can see. They lay flush against the ceiling and really update the place. Will buy more for the NEW house.
