This fixtures gives very bright clear light and is fully dimmable. However, it is poorly designed & cheaply made. First, the heads of the screws to attach the mounting plate to the junction box were too large to fit the slot openings on the mounting plate and had to be forced on with some effort. The lamp shade is held on with three nuts that are very hard to line up and screw in (especially when standing on a stool working overhead. The metal rim that holds the shade on is flimsy and has a sharp edge.

A friend installed this for me, but it did look easy enough. However, be advised that the light is so bright as to render my kitchen cold and industrial looking. I will be putting in a dimmer. Other than that, it’s a nice enough looking fixture. High quality it is not, it’s plastic but functional.

I needed a lens/diffuser for my bathroom Sola-Tube skylight. I removed the backplane containing the transformer and LED’s and mounted the rest to the ceiling over the light shaft. Works great and at half the cost of a replacement lens if you can find one. I can now mount the LED’s around the edge of the tube and remotely locate the transformer for a light fixture/ skylight combo.

It is certainly very bright so very suitable for using with a dimmer switch.A tip when putting it up, the small threaded ends that secure the cover a difficult to handle, I added a bit of blue painters tape around them to make it easier to install them, then removed when tightened.

This LED ceiling light is good looking and easy to install.To help aid the install of the frosted cover. I used some blue painters tape to hold the metal ring to it.That way it was a lot easier to screw the little caps on.

I had a florescent light fixture in the identical pattern in my kitchen. I replaced bulbs year one, ballast year 2 and the bulbs were burning out again this year. I replaced with this LED unit and WOW, three times the brightness verses the florescent. It wasn’t difficult to install, just like any standard light fixture

This light is attractive and very bright. Wiring is simple, but getting the fixture put together on the ceiling is a nightmare. The 3 posts that hold the fixture together are seperate pieces, so they swivel when you try to aligin the posts with the holes to screw everything together. The posts are threaded on both sides, so if they come apart, there is no way to get to the top screw to put it back together because the fixture is now mounted to the ceiling. I had one seprarate and I had to hold the screw in place with a knife blade to screw the post back on. Instead of all these little pieces, the post should be fixed with a threaed male end and acorn nuts to hold it all together. I know that’s not going to happen, but it should. The only way I would buy another one is if I had help installing it. It takes four hands to get it done quickly.

I already had the 15″ version of these lights in my office and bedroom. They’ve been working well and are easy to install. I just installed two of the 12″ version in my sun room and they are working well so far also.They dim well with Lutron or Leviton LED rated light dimmers, no flicker or buzzing. For the money these are great lights.

Light installed very easily. Using it in our pantry. No delay, light comes on instantly when switch is flipped. Be warned it is bright but does have a noticeable yellow cast so if that is an issue for you suggest looking at something advertised as “daylight” LED.

The light came exactly as described. I’ve been searching for a natural white LED fixture to use throughout the whole house. I was hoping the light would be a little more geared toward the 3500k, but it was dead on in my eyes at the 4000k. Unfortunately this was a little too blue for my taste, and I had to return, so my quest to find the perfect fixture continues.

I bought this light and its ok for the price. For low quality IMO and I wouldn’t recommend. It was missing 1 nut to finish the job that holds the outer ring on. Not to big of a deal so I contacted the company directly to ask for a replacement. This was a special part that cant just be bought at Home Depot.Its been months and they still havn’t sent the missing part.

This was the best solution for the rental unit. The price, the look and the quality met all our needs. It was easy for the handyman to install and works great with the must have dimmers. This is also the best size for an average size bedroom. No need to get a larger size and a smaller size wouldn’t look good. I recommend this product!!!

I’m rating #3 based on the poor quality of this light fixture. Taking it out of the box sickened me. I expected it to be better for the price. The dome is actually plastic and the metal frame is flimsy. It was easy to install because I was replacing a similiar fixture.

so prior fixture was non dimmable switched to this one in hopes it would work, well it does….. but only on high or low, but flickers around middle area of my slider, not sure if its my switches calibration or fixture but good enough for the moment as long as it dose not flicker on high or low .

Great light fixure. The only problem was the holes for the screws we not the right size for the screw heads to fit through the keyhole portion. Of course I didn’t discover thid until after I was on the ladder without my drill.

I have a small pullman kitchen and this LED light really lights it up REALLY well. Modern steel look ties in with the stainless appliances. Took an electrician about 5 minutes to install it.

Excellent lighting fixture for kitchens. We actually installed this in my kitchen and in my vaulted dining room. The streamline design fits well with different cabinet designs and avoid collecting dust. Because of disabilities we were unable to change lights in our old fixtures; this eliminates changing lightbulbs frequently. We chose the daylight option but the yellow might be better in living areas other than the kitchen. We had an electrician install it and he had it installed in minutes.

I originally purchased a different brand and was disappointed by the turn-on delay, cheesy construction, and cold, relatively dim light. But this brand was 10 times better! Instant on. Bright light. A true, warm light output that I prefer. I could’ve deducted for the somewhat flimsiness of the shade and trim ring, but I was so impressed with other factors including the solidness of the backing plate that I gave it a high 5.

The most important thing about this light fixture is that it is really bright. I placed it at the bottom of the basement stairs so I can see to descend the stairs safely. The fixture also looks great. I could wish that the two included mounting screws were 1/4 inch longer. Attach a string to each screw then thread the strings through the two mounting holes in the fixture. Now you can move the fixture up the strings and easily align with the two screws.

I was a little skeptical when we received this light because it was plastic. Once installed, you could never tell the materials which compose this light. I bought this light and installed it for my 2 bedrooms and home office. The brightness (4000K) was perfect for my needs and I paired all 3 of them with a lutron dimmer. When the fixture is at a dimmer level, there is a slight buzzing noise but it is not noticeable unless you really pay attention to it. During the installation process, it would have been easier to install if the screws that came with the light were longer, but I still managed to install the light fixtures.

My wife, under no circumstances, wants a “boob light” on our ceiling. But many times, that’s all the big box stores offer in their lighting department for a low price.This light matched the style of other ceiling lights in my house and was a great fit for the hallway. It is very bright. Currently, I use it on a basic toggle switch, but I plan on installing a smart dimmer switch. I will update this review when I use a dimmer.
